Route-aware fuel cost optimiser · Hackathon project

FuelFinder finds the cheapest fuel stop along your drive, ranked by true total cost rather than sticker price. It pulls live Western Australia prices from the official FuelWatch feed, then models the fuel burned reaching each station and the detour distance to recommend the single stop that minimises your trip cost.

How to use
  1. Draw your route using the directions panel on the right
  2. Pick your fuel type, then enter your efficiency (L/100km), tank capacity, and current level
  3. Tick any loyalty cards you hold for automatic discounts
  4. Click Calculate. The optimal stop is pinned to your route
